Verse Of The Week
April Week 5
Now unto him that is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that worketh in us, Ephesians 3:20
This scripture is very special to me because it was the very words that God spoke to me over 7 years ago after he first called me to speak for him. He healed my mother after he told me to go to the alter to pray for her one night. At that time he sent two people to confirm to me that she was healed. God is so amazing because I did not tell anybody what I was praying about. I just grabbed my two sisters that were with me that night and told them to come with me. While I was at the alter the first man (which was a Bishop) told me "because of your faith your mother is healed". Moreover as for me, God forbid that I should sin against the LORD in ceasing to pray for you: but I will teach you the good and the right way: 1 Samuel 12:23 It was Samuel's job to pray for the people of Israel because he was commanded by God to do so. It was my obedience to God that healed my mother; not the words in the prayer. It's our obedience to God that moves him to work in our favor. Circumcision is nothing, and uncircumcision is nothing: obedience to God's commandments is everything. 1 Corinthians 7:19 Afterward, I was on my way back to my seat and another man came up to me and told me that God has called me to preach. By doing this he confirmed again that God heard me and that he intended to use me for his Glory. I hear people saying the first part of the verse for today but it's the second half of the verse that brings it together according to the power that worketh in us God wants to work through us but we first have to obey his commandments and ask him to come in us. Jesus replied, "If anyone loves me, he will obey my teaching. My Father will love him, and we will come to him and make our home with him. John 14:23 Today I would like to encourage you to keep the faith no matter what the situation looks like because we serve a supernatural God. GOD IS ABLE!!!!! But Jesus beheld them, and said unto them, With men this is impossible; but with God all things are possible. Matthew 19:26
He who has ears, let him hear. Matthew 11:15 Be blessed and have a great day

April Mid Week Verse 4
"See, it is I who created the blacksmith who fans the coals into flame and forges a weapon fit for its work. And it is I who have created the destroyer to work havoc: Isaiah 54:16
Most people don't know this verse but it is the mate to one of the most popular scriptures in the Bible. Isaiah 54:17 No weapon form against me shall prosper; You see the verse today explains just why no weapon will prosper against you. GOD says that he is the one that gives the knowledge to the blacksmith that creates the weapon in the first place. Therefore, God will not give them all the information that they need to destroy you. Though they will form weapons and attack you; God has built you in such a way that you will prevail in the end. Behold, they shall surely gather together, but not by me: whosoever shall gather together against thee shall fall for thy sake. Isaiah 54:15 God will stand between you and your enemies and make a way for you but a trap for them. And it came between the camp of the Egyptians and the camp of Israel; and it was a cloud and darkness to them, but it gave light by night to these: so that the one came not near the other all the night.Exodus 14:20 Because we are the light of the world it is the Glory of God that is encamped around us. David understood this and that is why he so passionately pleads with us in Psalm 34:3 to Glorify the LORD with me; let us exalt his name together. It is your praise, worship, obedience, and faith that Glorifies GOD; and creates an atmosphere that will confuse your enemies. During the last watch of the night the LORD looked down from the pillar of fire and cloud at the Egyptian army and threw it into confusion. Exodus 14:24 Today I encourage you to Glorify the LORD in the face of whatever comes against you. Know that no weapon formed against you shall prosper!

April Week 4
A man's gift maketh room for him, and bringeth him before great men. Proverbs 18:16
This is another golden nugget by the wisest man to walk this earth King Solomon. There is something special that God has placed on the inside of you. God has gifted us in so many areas that some of our talents go by unnoticed for years or abandoned prematurely. This happens because life seems to be moving so fast and you don't feel like you have the time to be chasing a "silly dream." There is a place made special for you in this world and its waiting for you to come and take your proper place. Labour not to be rich: cease from thine own wisdom. Proverbs 23:4 Sometime we let our current needs and/or greed's interrupt our gift development time. While we begin to seek things and security (money) our personal fulfillment of doing what we were created to do suffer and opens a door to frustration and leaves us confused. But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you. Matthew 6:33 KJV We are frustrated because we are out of place. Seeking the kingdom of God and his Will for your life is the starting point to get back on the right road and leaving those days of confusion and dissatisfaction. Once you began to walk in that true calling, God will do things that only he can do and open doors that he may bring you before great men! And the key of the house of David will I lay upon his shoulder; so he (Jesus) shall open, and none shall shut; and he (Jesus) shall shut, and none shall open. Isaiah 22:22 Today I encourage you to press through the temptations, to take your rightful place God has prepared for you. but this one thing I do, forgetting those things which are behind, and reaching forth unto those things which are before, Philippians 3:13 I love how Paul states this (this one thing that I do) or this one purpose that I now serve. Don't worry about how you are going to fit in because as you're reading this verse God is making room for you and your gift!!!!

April Mid Week Verse 3
And this is my prayer: that your love may abound more and more in knowledge and depth of insight, Philippians 1:9
These are the words of Paul, He realized that it was his job to lead us to Christ but it is up to us to develop our own relationship with the Father. God love’s us so much! For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. John 3:16 With the sacrifice of his son, Jesus, his written instruction- the Holy Scriptures, and the gift of the Holy Spirit to guide us; God has made all kinds of efforts to get us to know him on his level (spiritual) God is a Spirit: and they that worship him must worship him in spirit and in truth. John 4:24 God wants us to know him in his true form so that we may have a greater understanding of what he is and all he has done and will do. Here I am! I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears my voice and opens the door, I will come in and eat with him, and he with me. Revelation 3:20 The relationship that God the Father is seeking is a friendship; moreover a best friend. In fact the Father of our faith Abraham was called a friend of God. And the scripture was fulfilled which saith, Abraham believed God, and it was imputed unto him for righteousness: and he was called the Friend of God. James 2:23 God want us to believe in him and the things he has promised us so that we might increase our faith and strengthen our relationship with him. He that believeth on me, as the scripture hath said, out of his belly shall flow rivers of living water. John 7:38 So today my prayer is the same as Paul’s that your friendship and love for God will intensify more and more as you continue to study, pray, and meditate deeper on the word of GOD . Greater love hath no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends. John 15:13

April Week 3
I know, O Lord, that a man’s life is not his own; it is not for man to direct his steps. Correct me, Lord, but only with justice—not in your anger, lest you reduce me to nothing. Jeremiah 10:23-24 (NIV)
Jeremiah was so wise; he received his call as a teenager and found out very early in life that God had different plans for his life than he did. He even commanded him not to get married or have children Thou shalt not take thee a wife, neither shalt thou have sons or daughters in this place. Jeremiah 16: 2 It’s a hard thing to understand that the God of Love does not want you to ever share and experience one of life’s most rewarding gifts ( the love of a family). Jeremiah understood that his life was not his own and God knew what was best for him. Before I formed thee in the belly I knew thee; and before thou camest forth out of the womb I sanctified thee, and I ordained thee a prophet unto the nations. Jeremiah 1:5 Sometimes what we want and the things that God has ordained in our life are not the same. It becomes very frustrating as we pull one way and God is directing us another way. It is in Jeremiah's wisdom that we find him praying in this verse to God that he would correct his error or sin not in anger but as a loving father correcting his child. For the Lord disciplines the one he loves, and he punishes every son he accepts." Hebrews 12:6 We must learn to yield to the will of God and follow after things above. And he (Jesus) went a little farther, and fell on his face, and prayed, saying, O my Father, if it be possible, let this cup pass from me: nevertheless not as I will, but as thou wilt. Matthew 26:39 So today I pray as Jeremiah did that God would correct us only with justice—not in your anger

April Mid Week Verse 2
6Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. 7And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus. Philippians 4 (6-7)NIV
The second verse is the one I would like to talk about but without the instruction of the first verse we would not be able to attain(the) peace of God. This is another principle that God is teaching us; to transform our way of thinking from the patterns of this world. The first verse has incredible insight on how God wants us to think and respond to day to day concerns. First he tells us not to worry about anything; whatever it may be your God is bigger and is able to bring you out. This is how we begin to stretch our faith and that is the beginning of your power. And Jesus said unto them, Because of your unbelief: for verily I say unto you, If ye have faith as a grain of mustard seed, ye shall say unto this mountain, Remove hence to yonder place; and it shall remove; and nothing shall be impossible unto you. Matthew 17:20 Our faith in God is what separates us from the unbeliever; this alone pleases God and moves him to work on our behalf. But without faith it is impossible to please him: Hebrews 11:6 Secondly he wants us to stay in constant communication with him, asking for help, understanding, and direction. (but in everything, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God.,) Don’t forget the thanksgiving part; this is the most important part of this verse. Without thanking him for the things that he has already done (and about to do) for you, we make it a one sided relationship. We must always recognize God as being God, no matter how things look; for praise positions him and inclines God to be wherever his people are praising him. But thou art holy, O thou that inhabitest the praises of Israel Psalm 22:3 For where two or three come together in my name, there am I with them." Matthew 18:20 If we can master these instructions then we will attain this God given Peace that verse 7 is talking about. The verse tells us that others and even we will not understand how we made it over. (But God) He also promises that he will guard our hearts and mind which means we want be harmed but will come out stronger than when we went in.

April Week 2
8 The LORD will perfect that which concerneth me: thy mercy, O LORD, endureth for ever: forsake not the works of thine own hands. Psalm 138:8
Such an incredibly encouraging verse! This is another song written by King David. David seen more than his fair share of hard times. He learned that through it all God will always make good on his promises. I have been young, and now am old; yet have I not seen the righteous forsaken, nor his seed begging bread. Psalm 37:25 What God wants us to learn from this verse is that he has a plan for our lives; no matter how far we strayed away from that plan, he is still able to perform it. And being fully persuaded that, what he had promised, he was able also to perform. Romans 4:21 God wants you to know just how wonderful and powerful he is. Even when things look so far away and just seem impossible to reach; Hope against hope. Against all hope, Abraham in hope believed and so became the father of many nations, just as it had been said to him, "So shall your offspring be." Romans 4:18 It's this kind of faith in God that moves him to bless you. For mine own sake, even for mine own sake, will I do it: for how should my name be polluted? and I will not give my glory unto another. Isaiah 48:11 God does not want us to praise or give credit to anybody but him. For it was God all by himself that put the whole world together without any help; there is no power higher. Know ye that the LORD he is God: it is he that hath made us, and not we ourselves; we are his people, and the sheep of his pasture. Psalm 100:3 Today, I would like to tell you that there is hope; in Christ Jesus place all your hope. There is hope because God has a plan; and in the plan you shall see the might, inimitable power, and Will of God in your life. There is hope because when God blesses us the blessing continues for generations to come. "There is hope for your future," declares the LORD, "And your children will return to their own territory. Mid Week Verse
Ye shall know them by their fruits. Do men gather grapes of thorns, or figs of thistles? Matthew 7:16
Are you making a difference in your community? How productive are you at your Church? What kind of legacy are you leaving behind? Will God be pleased with your body of work? What kind of fruit are you producing? God has given us all kinds of talents and gifts to go about his business and produce the kind of fruit that will continue to bless his people. 29For everyone who has will be given more, and he will have an abundance. Whoever does not have, even what he has will be taken from him. Matthew 25 Jesus also warns us that if we are not productive and cherish the things God has deposited within us that he will take it back. And when he saw a fig tree in the way, he came to it, and found nothing thereon, but leaves only, and said unto it, Let no fruit grow on thee henceforward for ever. And presently the fig tree withered away. Matthew 21:19 Jesus cursed the tree from that time on because it did not have any fruit at the time he needed it to produce some. Note that this does not mean that the tree was not able to produce; it was just out of season. Let no fruit grow on thee henceforward for ever. God expects us to always be able to produce instantly when it is required regardless of our circumstances. Preach the word; be instant in season, out of season; reprove, rebuke, exhort with great patience and good teaching.2 Timothy 4:2 In the Gospel of St. John Jesus goes on teaching us the only way to produce good fruit is to remain in him. Remain in me, and I will remain in you. No branch can bear fruit by itself; it must remain in the vine. Neither can you bear fruit unless you remain in me. John 15:4 Today I encourage you to continue in Christ that you may bring forth much fruit. Every branch in me that beareth not fruit he taketh away: and every branch that beareth fruit, he purgeth it, that it may bring forth more fruit. John 15:2

John 15:2

Verse Of The Week
April Week 1
And she called the name of the LORD that spake unto her, Thou God seest me: for she said, Have I also here looked after him that seeth me? Genesis 16:13
These are the words of Hagar the mother of Ishmael. Ishmael was Abraham's first son the one born outside of his marriage and the Will of God. Hagar was placed in a tense situation being a servant where other people decided what she did with her body and her offspring. She felt pressed to her limit because she had no one to turn to. But Abram said unto Sarai, Behold, thy maid is in thine hand; do to her as it pleaseth thee. And when Sarai dealt hardly with her, she fled from her face. Genesis 16:6 She could not bear the burden any longer and tried to run away from her problem. In the mist of what looked like an impossible situation and a very lonely place; GOD found her!!! The angel said to her, "Hagar, Sarai's servant, where have you come from, and where are you going?" "I'm running away from my mistress, Sarai," she replied. Genesis 16:8 There may be times in your life where you feel invisible because one thing happened right after another with no end in sight. You may feel forgotten because no one can really relate to your pain or change your situation. The angel of the LORD also said to her: "You are now with child and you will have a son. You shall name him Ishmael, for the LORD has heard of your misery. Genesis 16:11 There is a God who cares and can reach any hurt and fix any problem. Moved with pity Jesus reached out His hand and touched him. "I am willing," He said; "be cleansed." Mark 1:41 Today I encourage you to believe that God is God and He sees all and knows all. You are not forgotten God knows you by name. For there is no respect of persons with God. Romans 2:11
