And the prophet came to the king of Israel, and said unto him, Go, strengthen thyself, and mark, and see what thou doest: for at the return of the year the king of Syria will come up against thee. 1 Kings 20:22
Here we find that GOD sends a message to the king of Israel after he just won a battle against the king of Syria. While the King was thinking on the lines of a celebration because of his victory. GOD wanted him to recognized his weaknesses take account of them and see what has to be done to strengthen himself. Jesus said For I am come to set a man at variance against his father, and the daughter against her mother, and the daughter in law against her mother in law. Matthew 10:35 Often times GOD will place us within a conflict to expose our weakness or shortcomings to us. Things we may have thought we had under control but not quite. The truth is conflict brings out the truth, when backed in a corner a person will show their true colors. We all feel we have the victory over certain issues while we are not being tested on them. With words like "LORD I will never do that again." The fact is unless you are within that conflict and overcome it regularly it is still a weakness and needs to be addressed. For if we would judge ourselves, we should not be judged. 1 Corinthians 11:31 Once we recognize a weakness we should do all we can to correct it to avoid GOD's judgment on us. Today I want to encourage you to address your weakness; lets not go into the new year without giving them the attention they deserve!!! Even if you may have won this battle over the enemy he will be back; always looking for an area to attack you! Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour: 1 Peter 5:8

Matthew 1:23 "The virgin will be with child and will give birth to a son, and they will call him Immanuel"--which means, "God with us."
Oh what a blessed assurance as believer to know that God is indeed here with us! John 14:23 Jesus answered him, "If anyone loves me, he will keep my word. Then my Father will love him, and we will go to him and make our home within him. Jesus has promised that if we continue in his word that he will always be with us. God wants us to take this to heart and not walk in fear because we are his children. 1 John 4:4 Ye are of God, little children, and have overcome them: because greater is he that is in you, than he that is in the world. We have an unlimited source of power resting on the inside of us and there is nothing that can stop us. Romans 8:31 What, then, shall we say in response to this? If God is for us, who can be against us? This was the reason Jesus came; that we may be just like him. Romans 8:29 For God knew his people in advance, and he chose them to become like his Son, so that his Son would be the firstborn among many brothers and sisters. We are born again people of God being changed unto his likeness to fulfill his purpose and his will. Isaiah 30:21 And your ears shall hear a word behind you, saying, This is the way, walk you in it, when you turn to the right hand, and when you turn to the left. Filled with the Spirit of God we have the power and authority to be world changers. Matthew 10:20 for it will not be you speaking, but the Spirit of your Father speaking through you. Today I want to encourage to take full control of the power of God that’s inside of you. 1 Corinthians 3:16 Don't you know that you yourselves are God's temple and that God's Spirit lives in you? Christianity is more that trying to stay spotless and waiting on Christ’s return. John 14:12 I tell you the truth, anyone who has faith in me will do what I have been doing. He will do even greater things than these, because I am going to the Father.

But while he thought on these things, behold, the angel of the Lord appeared unto him in a dream, saying, Joseph, thou son of David, fear not to take unto thee Mary thy wife: for that which is conceived in her is of the Holy Ghost. Matthew 1:20
Joseph was contemplating a decision that seemed he would ultimately have to make divorcing Mary, his bride to be. Joseph had just received some disturbing news that the woman he was engaged to was with child, that was not his own. Matthew 1:18 When as his mother Mary was espoused to Joseph, before they came together, she was found with child of the Holy Ghost. Joseph thought he had no choice on the matter and was only trying to figure out the best was to end the engagement. Matthew 1:19Then Joseph her husband, being a just man, and not willing to make her a public example, was minded to put her away privily. It was the wisdom of Joseph that he acted on and not on his emotions, that I am sure were reaching extreme measures. Proverbs 25:28 He that hath no rule over his own spirit is like a city that is broken down, and without walls. Instead of blowing up, making a scene, or playing the victim; he searches out a way to do what he feels was best for Mary as well as himself. and not willing to make her a public example, was minded to put her away privily. Joseph displayed a Kings and priestly demeanor as he only had good intentions for the both of them. 1 Peter 2:9 But ye are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, an holy nation, a peculiar people; that ye should shew forth the praises of him who hath called you out of darkness into his marvellous light: No wonder GOD chose him to be Jesus earthly father to raise him to be the KING and redeemer of the world!!! See how the angel addresses him Joseph, thou son of David reminding him he was of royal bloodline and favored by GOD. Today I want to encourage you to remember who you are; know that there is a King in you and that we should always act in the manner. Deuteronomy 7:6 For you are a people holy to the LORD your God. The LORD your God has chosen you out of all the peoples on the face of the earth to be his people, his treasured possession.

The angel went to her and said, "Greetings, you who are highly favored! The Lord is with you."Luke 1-28
These are the words of the angel Gabriel to Mary the mother of Jesus. Now we understand that she was favored and the Lord was with her because we know how the story ends. However if we take a look at how things looked from Mary’s eyes we would not feel like there was any favor at all from God. First she had to tell the man she was engaged to that she was about to have God’s baby but she still wanted to marry him! Then to make matters worse he could have had her stoned to death if he did not believe her. Then she delivered our Savior in a barn because there wasn’t any room in the inn (as if God could not keep one room for them). Then to top it all off they had to run and hide in a strange land for years to preserve the life of our Savior because the King was trying to kill him. It’s hard to find favor in this story when you think of the unlimited power of God almighty!!! Hebrews 6:10 God is not unjust ; he will not forget your work and love you have shown him as you have helped his people and continue to help them. I said all that to say this often times we can’t see the background work that God has in place or his whole plan that has millions of parts flowing at one time to bring about his will. Romans 11:33 Oh, the depth of the riches of the wisdom and knowledge of God! How unsearchable his judgments, and his paths beyond tracing out! Your time will come, your anointing is still there, God is still true, his power is still unmatched, and his favor in your life will bring you out. Moreover whom he did predestinate, them he also called: and whom he called, them he also justified: and whom he justified, them he also glorified. What shall we then say to these things? If God be for us, who can be against us? Romans 8:30,31

Verily I say unto you, Whosoever shall not receive the kingdom of God as a little child, he shall not enter therein. Mark 10:15
Here we see Jesus stressing how important it is to be born again. Jesus answered and said to him, Truly, truly, I say to you, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God. John 3:3 In the selected verse today Jesus is speaking about the steps that occur after you become a believer. I truly believe that this is the hardest part of being converted to a Christian. From the time we were born until you come to know Christ as your personal savior our mind has been shaped to process and see things in a certain way. Once we become born again Jesus expects us to get rid of that old way of thinking. And no one pours new wine into old wineskins. If he does, the wine will burst the skins, and both the wine and the wineskins will be ruined. No, he pours new wine into new wineskins." Mark 2:22 This is where the little child comes into play; WE (as in all of us) have to re-process every single thing that we know to be a fact and see what God thinks about it. And be renewed in the spirit of your mind; Ephesians 4:23 When Jesus says I say unto you, Love your enemies, bless them that curse you, do good to them that hate you, and pray for them which despitefully use you, and persecute you; Matthew 5:44 he really means it. It's easy for a child to accept things because they are learning it for the first time without any bias or predetermined ideas. However the older we become we say things like "I know what the Word says BUT" and "I don't believe that was said for our time" Out of the same mouth come praise and cursing. My brothers, this should not be James 3:10 Believers but still holding on to our own ideas and concepts. Today I encourage you to let go of these precepts that have formed your thinking so far. And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God. Romans 12:2 And Like newborn babies, crave pure spiritual milk, so that by it you may grow up in your salvation, 1 Peter 2:2

And the LORD said unto him, What is that in thine hand? And he said, A rod. Exodus 4:2
This is a portion of the conversation that Moses was having with God while he still was unsure of that authority and gifting that was already given unto him. And Moses answered and said, But, behold, they will not believe me, nor hearken unto my voice: for they will say, The LORD hath not appeared unto thee. Exodus 4:1 God's reply come in a form of a question. When God speaks to us in a form of a question it's because he is about to bring about revelation!!! He is about to show Moses something that he has had for years but never recognize its full potential. What is that in thine hand? What God wants us to see that we have had everything that we are going to need to fulfill our purpose since the day we were born. I will praise thee; for I am fearfully and wonderfully made: marvellous are thy works; and that my soul knoweth right well. Psalm 139:14 Moses could only see a stick or rod but God saw it as a powerful instrument to display his power. And he said, Cast it on the ground. And he cast it on the ground, and it became a serpent; and Moses fled from before it. Exodus 4:3 Just because you have not done anything great does not mean that it's not in you. We only need to appreciate the gifting that is within us; and we will surprise even ourselves. The serpent surprise Moses because he did not expect that to come from his hands. Its important to note that he was not afraid of the snake it self because the next verse he picks it up without and hesitation. Then the LORD said to Moses, "Reach out and grab the snake by its tail." He reached out and grabbed it, and it turned back into a staff as he held it. Exodus 4:4 God has place some talents on the inside of us but we have to learn how to master them. This is why we see Moses take the snake by its tail to take ownership of his gift. Today I encourage you to take ownership of the gifts and callings that God has on your life. Taking every opportunity to master it so you will reach you full potential. Wherefore I put thee in remembrance that thou stir up the gift of God, which is in thee by the putting on of my hands. 2 Timothy 1:6

But as it is written, Eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man, the things which God hath prepared for them that love him. 1 Corinthians 2:9
What are your expectations of GOD in your life? As a child of GOD we are to live by faith. For therein is the righteousness of God revealed from faith to faith: as it is written, The just shall liven by faith. Romans 1:17 Our faith hangs on the word of GOD because we have never seen GOD with our own eyes. (For we walk by faith, not by sight:) 2 Corinthians 5:7 Today I would like to speak into your life, O child of GOD, another promise from your Father. GOD has given us his word that there are greater things to come. Things so great that our eyes have never seen anything so wonderful; nether have we imagine them. GOD is able to exceed all of our expectations with just one Word. Now unto him that is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that worketh in us, Ephesians 3:20 Raise your expectation of GOD in your own life. Know that GOD wants more than anything to bless you but it is going to be according to His purpose, power, spirit that live in us. Though thy beginning was small, yet thy latter end should greatly increase. Job 8:7
It's not where you start, but where you finish! GOD takes great pleasure in bringing you from an impossible situation to a place of rest. Fear not, little flock; for it is your Father's good pleasure to give you the kingdom. Luke 12:32 In fact Jesus compared the Kingdom of GOD to a small mustard seed. It is like a grain of mustard seed, which a man took, and cast into his garden; and it grew, and waxed a great tree; and the fowls of the air lodged in the branches of it. Luke 13:19 Jesus says that things won't come over night but there is a time that the seed need to develop underground(small beginning) then it will grow to become agreat tree.(latter end) Jesus said not only will you wax great but you will provide for others around you. and the fowls of the air lodged in the branches of it. I know that there are times when you feel like you will never make it from the underground stage but it takes time to establish your roots to support such a great tree. But my covenant will I establish with Isaac, which Sarah shall bear unto thee at this set time in the next year. Genesis 17:21 Though Sarah was 90 years old and thought she had missed her chance to be a mother she only had not met her appointed time yet. Seek from the book of the LORD, and read: Not one of these will be missing; None will lack its mate. For His mouth has commanded, And His Spirit has gathered them. Isaiah 34:16 GOD has said it and His Spirit which is the Kingdom of GOD is putting all the pieces together. Today I want to encourage to wait on your appointed time. Like Sarah and Job keep looking for your time of life to be complete. Is any thing too hard for the LORD? At the time appointed I will return unto thee, according to the time of life, and Sarah shall have a son. Genesis 18:14

Then said Jesus, Father, forgive them; for they know not what they do. Luke 23:34
Have you ever found yourself in a situation where you were out of the Will of God? Well then these words spoken by our redeemer, Jesus Christ, are for you. Father, forgive them; for they know not what they do. Even while hanging on the cross Jesus could not hold any ill will towards us. The very fact is he could find nothing but love for us; while we yet rejected him as Lord and favored a murderer in place of his life. But ye denied the Holy One and the Just, and desired a murderer to be granted unto you; Acts 3-14 It is by God's grace and grace alone that we have received the gift of salvation. For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: Ephesians 2:8 The only way to receive that gift is to repent with a Godly sorrow. Godly sorrow brings repentance that leads to salvation and leaves no regret, but worldly sorrow brings death. 2 Corinthians 7:10 The word repent literally means to rethink; to change the way you see things. Therefore a Godly repentance will leave no regret because God has forgiven you and washed away your sins. He who conceals his sins does not prosper, but whoever confesses and renounces them finds mercy. Proverbs 28:13 Sometimes people and/or the devil try to remind us of the things we have done in the past, with the intent to keep us bound by our past failures, but the devil is a lie!!! Who shall lay any thing to the charge of God's elect? It is God that justifieth. Romans 8:33 If you have repented before God you are free from all charges and renewed in the likeness of Jesus. If the Son therefore shall make you free, ye shall be free indeed. John 8:36 Today I encourage you to be thankful to God for all that he has done for you!!!! Walk in the path of his God given freedom and don't allow anybody to keep you bound by your past failures. Now the Lord is that Spirit: and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is liberty. 2 Corinthians 3:17

Week 7 Mid Week Verse
I think myself happy, king Agrippa, because I shall answer for myself this day before thee touching all the things whereof I am accused of the Jews: Acts 26:2
The words of Paul "I think myself happy." False Charges had been brought against Paul by the Jews. Paul did not allow the false accusations to steal his joy though he had been beaten and thrown into jail wrongfully. Yet Paul waited patiently for his turn to speak to prove his innocence. since you are especially familiar with all the Jewish customs and controversies. I beg you, therefore, to listen patiently to me. Acts 26:3 It was Paul's knowledge of the scriptures and his relationship with GOD that gave him the happiness he is expressing. There is a confidence that comes when you know that you are a child of GOD and no weapon from against you shall prosper Isaiah 54:17. The devil's name literally means slanderer or accuser which means he will always try to bring up your past if he can or else make up something against you. In fact Jesus calls the devil the father of lies. because there is no truth in him. When he speaketh a lie, he speaketh of his own: for he is a liar, and the father of it. John 8:44 Paul chose to think of the way GOD was going to bring him out; rather than worry or entertain thoughts about this new attack from the devil. Today I encourage you to be like Paul and think yourself happy focusing on the incredible GOD you serve rather than give place to the illusion painted by the devil. Finally, brothers, whatever is true, whatever is honorable, whatever is fair, whatever is pure, whatever is acceptable, whatever is commendable, if there is anything of excellence and if there is anything praiseworthy-keep thinking about these things. Philippians 4:8

But with the precious blood of Christ, as of a lamb without blemish and without spot: Who verily was foreordained before the foundation of the world, but was manifest in these last times for you, 1 Peter 1:19-20
This is such a amazing verse that truly shows the unstoppable Will of GOD. Peter is writing about Jesus Christ and GOD's plan for him even before the foundation of the World. Who has accomplished this? Who has determined the course of history from the beginning? I, the LORD, was there first, and I will be there to the end. I am the one!" Isaiah 41:4 The foreknowledge of GOD is that he looked at the world and saw what man would do and how we would fall. Yet he did not change his mind about creating the world but prepared a way for us to be redeemed even before Adam ever sin. the Lamb slain from the foundation of the world Revelation 13:8 In fact GOD looked at the world saw the sacrifice his only son would have to endure to change our destiny and still said it is very good. And God saw every thing that he had made, and, behold, [it was] very good. Genesis 1:31 What GOD has for you is for you. What GOD has declared over your life shall come to pass. We are only waiting on the manifestation to take place. But they that wait upon the LORD shall renew [their] strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; [and] they shall walk, and not faint. Isaiah 40:31 Today I want to encourage you to hold fast to the word of GOD and the promise he has made to you. For it is only a matter of time because it has been ordained for you before the foundations of the earth. Then shall the King say unto them on his right hand, Come, ye blessed of my Father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world: Matthew 25:34

Week 6 mid week verse
7Now we pray to God that you will not do anything wrong. Not that people will see that we have stood the test but that you will do what is right even though we may seem to have failed. 2Corinthians 13NIV
There is no failure in God!!! We must learn to stop counting the things in our lives that seem to be a failure to us. Some things were only meant to be temporary; just a stepping stone in our life to get us to the next level. We have to learn that God does not grade us the way we grade ourselves. God will place us in a dying situation and we have no idea that he has a plan for it to die the whole time. Then he gives us instructions, (the bible) on how to handle the situation only to see that it still dies. We would count that as a failure but if you did everything according to Gods holy word then God is pleased and you have indeed passed your test. In the very first chapter of the very first book in the bible we learn that God uses seeds to bring forth life. 11And God said, Let the earth bring forth grass, the herb yielding seed, and the fruit tree yielding fruit after his kind, whose seed is in itself, upon the earth: and it was so. Genesis 1 God has always operated with seeds; so to understand how God operates we must first learn how a seed operates. John 12:24 "Truly, truly, I say to you, unless a grain of wheat falls into the earth and dies, it remains alone; but if it dies, it bears much fruit. With that being said we can realize that God is going to let some things in our life die in order to bring us into a new place in him. Don’t get me wrong we should never quit because we don’t know what God has planned for our life but understand that if he allows it to die then let it die. Jesus had to die on the cross to give us life in the Holy Spirit. the Comforter will not come unto you; but if I depart, I will send him unto you. John 16:7 None of his disciples understood what he was talking about or what was about to happen; just as we don’t always understand what’s happening in our lives. But we do know this that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose. Romans 8:28 So today I pray just as Paul did in this scripture To God that you will not do anything wrong but pass the test by living Holy in every way.

(Week 6)
As the Philistine (Goliath) moved closer to attack him, David ran quickly toward the battle line to meet him. 1 Samuel 17:48
We are Giants killers!!!!! There are going to come a few times in our life when we will face Giants. They seem to come from nowhere and stop you dead in your tracks. Most of the time they play on your biggest fears or limitations in order to stop you from becoming what God has called you to be. One would think that God would not allow them to even come up against you, but God wants you to face your giants and over come them. Nay, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him that loved us. Romans 8:37 God wants to use us; but we have to believe that God is God and nothing can keep us from the things that he has spoken over our lives. It’s another way that God can stretch your faith and enlarge your territory.(he’s taking the limits off) Matthew 16:19 "I will give you the keys of the kingdom of heaven; and whatever you bind on earth shall have been bound in heaven, and whatever you loose on earth shall have been loosed in heaven." If God is going to trust you with the keys to the kingdom of heaven then you must be fearless and tell your Giant that he is already defeated!!! 45 David said to the Philistine(Goliath), "You come against me with sword and spear and javelin, but I come against you in the name of the LORD Almighty,1 Samuel 17 Take your keys, prepare for battle and meet your Giant face to face and stand on the word of God 16 Above all, taking the shield of faith, wherewith ye shall be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked. 17 And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God: Today I encourage to stop avoiding your Giants; they won't go anywhere anyway; run quickly towards them and You will not have to fight this battle. Take up your positions; stand firm and see the deliverance the LORD will give you 2 Chronicles 20:17

Verse of the Week
(Week 5 Mid Week Verse)
And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb, and by the word of their testimony; and they loved not their lives unto the death. Revelation 12:11
How great is our GOD; the price that he paid with his body to remove every single curse, sickness, pain, transgression, and even death out of our future. But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon him; and with his stripes we are healed. Isaiah 53:5 It was this very reason that Jesus came into the world; that he may be the final blood sacrifice. And almost all things are by the law purged with blood; and without shedding of blood is no remission. Hebrews 9:22 It was the blood of lambs and other animals in the Old Testament that brought about forgiveness of sins. Therefore it should be no surprise that this is how John the Baptist announced Jesus to the world. The next day John saw Jesus coming unto him, and said, Behold the Lamb of God, who takes away the sin of the world. John 1:29 Now then it was the blood of this Lamb (Christ) that sets us free and releases us from the bondage of sin; it shines a light into our dark places and heals our broken heart. "The Spirit of the Lord is on me, because he has anointed me to preach good news to the poor. He has sent me to proclaim freedom for the prisoners and recovery of sight for the blind, to release the oppressed, Luke 4:18 Today I want to encourage you to allow the Blood of Jesus Christ to do what it was sent to do; to cause you to triumph over anything that life throws your way Likewise also the cup after supper, saying, This cup is the new testament in my blood, which is shed for you. Luke 22:20 I pray that your testimony is like mine as well as the song “His Blood Stills Works” that you have been redeemed by the Blood of the Lamb. For Christ died for sins once for all, the righteous for the unrighteous, to bring you to God. He was put to death in the body but made alive by the Spirit, 1 Peter 3:18

Verse of the Week
(Week 5)
But my God shall supply all your needs according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus. Philippians 4:19
This is a very profound statement to the children of God. God promised that he will take care of our every need. That sounds great right; but God also put some stipulations on these riches. We have to seek his Glory through the faith of his son Jesus Christ. If ye shall ask any thing in my name,(Jesus) I will do it. John 14:14 I really believe that we got this part down (asking in Jesus name); for most of us end our prayer with the phrase "In Jesus Name." On the other hand I am not sure that we truly seek the Glory of God which is the spirit, power, essence, and very presence of our God. Then the cloud covered the Tent of Meeting, and the glory of the LORD filled the tabernacle. Exodus 40:34 It was there in the tent of meeting where the Glory of God appeared. This verse is very important to note because God really wants to meet with us; he desires to talk with us; it's a relationship that he is after. He is not interested in anyone who just has their hand out and not looking to develop a relationship with him. The more they increased, the more they sinned against me; I will change their glory into shame. Hosea 4:7 Sin removes us from the presence of God therefore removing us from the riches of His Glory. But your iniquities have separated between you and your God, and your sins have hid his face from you, that he will not hear. Isaiah 59:2 Today I encourage you to repent if need be and to seek God's Glory. I am a witness that in the presence of God you will find everything that you need to survive no matter what your situation is. Now the Lord is that Spirit: and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is liberty. 2 Corinthians 3:17

(Week 4 Mid Week Verse)
Then he continued, "Do not be afraid, Daniel. Since the first day that you set your mind to gain understanding and to humble yourself before your God, your words were heard, and I have come in response to them.Daniel 10:12
These are the words the Angel sent to Daniel a prophet and worshiper of God. Daniel had been fasting and praying to God for weeks, seeking an answer from him. I did not eat any tasty food, nor did meat or wine enter my mouth, nor did I use any ointment at all until the entire three weeks were completed Daniel 10:3 There are times in life when we call on God and it seems like our prayers are not getting through. Like Daniel, we have humbled ourselves before God to seek his help but we still have not received an answer from Him. The Lord is not slow in keeping his promise, as some understand slowness. He is patient with you, not wanting anyone to perish, but everyone to come to repentance. 2 Peter 3:9 When this happens we may begin to question our relationship with God and wonder where is this 'Jesus' that saves and heals his people. But for twenty-one days the spirit prince of the kingdom of Persia blocked my way. Then Michael, one of the archangels, came to help me, and I left him there with the spirit prince of the kingdom of Persia Daniel 10:13 Here the Angel explained to Daniel why there was a delay in getting his message from God. For 21 days (the same amount of days he fast and prayed) I have been fighting with the devil on your behalf. There are some things going on right now in the spirit realm. For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms. Ephesians 6:12 Have faith that God is fighting your battles as you are reading this very verse; removing every barrier place by the enemy to stop your progress. This is why the writer said(For we walk by faith, not by sight:) 2 Corinthians 5:7 Today I encourage you to keep the faith that you are a child of God patiently waiting on your answer from one of God's Angels. Knowing that he hears your every words that you send to him. Even Since the first day that you set your mind to gain understanding and to humble yourself before your God, Daniel 10:12

Verse of the Week
(Week 4)
Before I formed thee in the belly I knew thee; and before thou camest forth out of the womb I sanctified thee, and I ordained thee a prophet unto the nations. Jeremiah 1:5
The “verse of the day” is a powerful scripture that has three incredible segments. Before I formed thee in the belly I knew thee, GOD tells Jeremiah that even before I began to shape you within the womb I knew all about you. You are not forgotten or invisible to GOD; he knows exactly who you are. My frame was not hidden from you when I was made in the secret place. When I was woven together in the depths of the earth, Psalm 139:15 The significance of understanding this thing is crucial because a few times in life we will be isolated as we go through certain tests and we may feel invisible and/or forgotten. and before thou camest forth out of the womb I sanctified thee The word sanctified means to be set apart. GOD says that you are different from everybody else. You are an original; there is none like you in all the earth. Listen to me, you islands; hear this, you distant nations: Before I was born the LORD called me; from my birth he has made mention of my name. Isaiah 49:1 Sometimes we look at other people's gifts and persona and try to imitate them, but the day we recognize we too are special will be the day we began to maximize our own unique abilities. The last part of “the verse of the day” is I ordained thee. The word ordains mean purposed Your eyes saw my unformed body. All the days ordained for me were written in your book before one of them came to be. Psalm 139:16 Here GOD says that not only have I known you before you were conceived and set you apart as a original, but I have also given you a purpose. There is an assignment over your life. You have an objective GOD wants you to fulfill. Today I want to encourage you to know that GOD is aware of you and your situation, he has made you different for a reason, and that there is a specific task right here on earth that only you can complete. When we can achieve these things it pleases GOD. But when it pleased God, who separated me from my mother's womb, and called me by his grace,Galatians 1:15

Verse of the Week
Week 3 Mid week verse
I am still confident of this: I will see the goodness of the LORD in the land of the living. Psalm 27:13
Today's verse comes from a psalm of David. The one that GOD confessed was a man after his own heart. he raised up unto them David to be their king; to whom also he gave testimony, and said, I have found David the [son] of Jesse, a man after mine own heart, which shall fulfil all my will. Acts 13:22 David was anointed to be King over Israel at a very young age. GOD will sometimes show (in dreams or visions) or tell us of something to come in our future (prophecy). Just like Jeremiah, our promise is more than a gift from GOD; it's our destiny, our purpose, what GOD had in mind when he was forming us in our mother's womb. Before I formed you in the womb I knew you; and before you came forth out of the womb I sanctified you, and I ordained you a prophet unto the nations.Jeremiah 1:5 Clearly as a teenager David was not ready to become King over GOD's people because he had not yet gained the experience the position demanded. Dear friends, do not be surprised at the painful trial you are suffering, as though something strange were happening to you. 1 Peter 4:12 David had to go through a process; stages in his life that would eventually shape him into being the greatest King Israel has ever had. To get there David had to learn to fight battles and wars, suffer defeats, rejection, jealousy, abandonment, become a leader and remain humble while being an enemy of the state. This process brought many tearful nights but, he never gave into the hurt and pain. David still believed before the final breath in his body he would become the King GOD promised. Today, I would like to encourage you not to defer the thing that GOD has shown you as your heavenly promise. However, learn from David and finish the process with confidence that you will see the goodness of the LORD in the land of the living.

Verse Of The Week
(Week 3)
And this is the confidence that we have in him, that, if we ask anything according to his will, he hears us:1 John 5:14
Many times we allow our present situation to dictate our level of Faith; which allows our Faith to fluctuate moment to moment. When things are going well we seem to have all confidence in GOD. However, when things seem to be falling apart we began to worry and question if GOD is really with us. Know therefore that the LORD your God is God; he is the faithful God, keeping his covenant of love to a thousand generations of those who love him and keep his commands. Deuteronomy 7:9. This is such an encouraging verse,GOD says he will remain faithful to us for a thousand generations if we love him and keep his commandments. Jesus understands the pressure we are under in this world; that’s why GOD gives us verses like the one in Deuteronomy and Hebrews. For we do not have a high priest who is unable to sympathize with our weaknesses, but we have one who has been tempted in every way, just as we are--yet was without sin. Hebrews 4:15NIV It’s important to note that the LORD does not operate under the same thought process we act upon. For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways, and my thoughts than your thoughts.Isaiah 55:9 Today I want to encourage you not to allow your situation to dictate your level of confidence in GOD. Yet allow your Faith to grow from Faith to Faith through each test. For in it is the righteousness of God revealed from faith to faith: as it is written, The just shall live by faith. Romans 1:17

Verse of the Week
(Week 2)
Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices. 2 Corinthians 2:11
This scripture comes out of 2 Corinthians and it is a letter from Paul. He is encouraging the believers at Corinth to forgive one another in order not to open a door to Satan that will allow him to cause division among themselves. However the inspiration of this verse was the second half of it; for we are not ignorant of his devices. What are Satan's devices? For all that is in the world, the lust of the flesh, and the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life, is not of the Father, but is of the world.1 John 2:16 The lust of the flesh; these are the desires that our bodies pull for naturally. This would not be a sin if kept in moderation and within its original purpose. You say, "I am allowed to do anything"--but not everything is good for you. And even though "I am allowed to do anything," I must not become a slave to anything. 1 Corinthians 6:12 NLT Satan takes these naturally proclivities and pervert them to where we are driven by these desires or all together abuse what GOD has design for them from the beginning. The lust of the eyes is the next piece of this verse. This is coveting and greed! These are not natural desires that on pull us, but the moment we see something someone else has, all of a sudden it becomes a must have. It’s ok to see things and like them but Satan takes this information and drives the thought that we are not relevant because we don’t have. We soon become envious and develop an appetite to go after stuff because we fill it will make us significant. But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.Matthew 6:33. Jesus is teaching us not to chase after things but chase after the GOD of the things. While doing so those things will find you. The pride of life is the last part of the scripture and it is talking about our pride and selfishness. I believe this does the most damage to our understanding and relationship with GOD because it is the complete opposite of the principals of GOD. Jesus says turn the other cheek, but our pride says otherwise; Jesus says love your enemy, but pride says otherwise, Jesus says give to the needy; but selfishness says otherwise. That ye may be the children of your Father which is in heaven: for he maketh his sun to rise on the evil and on the good, and sendeth rain on the just and on the unjust. Matthew 5:45 Jesus says if you do these things you are truly the sons of GOD because you are behaving just as he does. Like Father like Son!!!!!!!!!

Verse Of the Week
(Week 1)
See, I have engraved you on the palms of my hands; your walls are ever before me. Isaiah 49:16 NIV
These are the words of God to his people by the mouth and hand of the prophet Isaiah. God tells his people that he has written engraved their names in his hands. The word engraved is key here because its deeper than just written down which can be easily be erased or cover up. However God said that I have cut your names so deep into my hands that it will remain before me forever. your walls are ever before me. Not only your names but your walls which represent the boundaries of your territory or promise God has made to you. See, it stands written before me: I will not keep silent but will pay back in full; I will pay it back into their laps--Isaiah 65:6 God says He will not keep silent; because it is engraved in his hand it will be a constant reminder to him daily of the things which he has promise. You keep track of all my sorrows. You have collected all my tears in your bottle. You have recorded each one in your book.Psalm 56:8 God say that he has also keep track of all your sorrows every single one has been recorded in his book. Along with every tear that has flowed from your eyes; he has collected and place them in a bottle to one day repay you for your time and faithfulness you have sowed. They that sow in tears shall reap in joy.Psalm 126:5 Today I want to encourage you to continue to sow in the seeds of faithfulness, righteousness, and love. He that goeth forth and weepeth, bearing precious seed, shall doubtless come again with rejoicing, bringing his sheaves [with him]. Psalm 126:6 Remember that you will reap if you don't give up. And let us not be weary in well doing: for in due season we shall reap, if we faint not. Galatians 6:9
