Jesus therefore, knowing all things that should come upon him, went forth, and said unto them, Whom seek ye? John 18:4
We do not serve a limited GOD, he is all knowing, all seeing, all powerful, all mighty, and ever Holy! In this verse Jesus is about to be arrested but instead of trying to avoid the enemy he steps up and becomes the aggressor. Whom seek ye? This is a blessing to know because GOD does not ever wait on the devil to make his move, but because he is all knowing he has a plan already in place to make all things work to his purpose. for it is God who works in you to will and to act according to his good purpose. Philippians 2:13 After Jesus becomes the aggressor to protect his disciples and do the will of his Father the enemy is thrown into confusion and fear. As soon then as he had said unto them, I am [he], they went backward, and fell to the ground. John 18:6 Jesus has the power to turn the tables around on your enemies whenever he wants. After we allow him to take control of our situations Jesus begins to dictate to the devil how this thing will play out. Again he asked them, "Who is it you want?" And they said, "Jesus of Nazareth." "I told you that I am he," Jesus answered. "If you are looking for me, then let these men go."John 18:7-8 Jesus is our protector and refuge! He will fight our battles and heal our bodies! God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble. Psalm 46:1 Today I want to encourage you to continue to allow GOD to have full control of your life knowing that He will fight your battles. The LORD shall fight for you, and ye shall hold your peace. Exodus 14:14

March Week 5 Verse
Also, that the soul be without knowledge, it is not good; and he that hasteth with his feet sinneth. Proverbs 19:2
This verse deals with making good decisions by counting the cost before you leap into something. Jesus taught his disciples to examine the situation carefully before jumping and doing something that "seems" like a good idea. "Suppose one of you wants to build a tower. Will he not first sit down and estimate the cost to see if he has enough money to complete it? Luke 14:28 The more knowledge that you gain in certain areas the more apt you are to make well informed decisions. My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge: because thou hast rejected knowledge, I will also reject thee, that thou shalt be no priest to me: seeing thou hast forgotten the law of thy God, I will also forget thy children. Hosea 4:6 The people of God are expected to grow in knowledge and understanding. How else can you be the salt of the earth, the head and not the tail, above and not beneath? but grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. To Him be the glory, both now and to the day of eternity. Amen 2 Peter 3:18 Once we begin to grow in knowledge we must acknowledge the power and presence of God in all that we do in order to make wise decisions. The fear of the LORD is the beginning of wisdom: and the knowledge of the holy is understanding. Proverbs 9:10 Because God is wisdom; to grow in wisdom is to grow in God; for this is the basis of everyone's relationship with the Father. Wisdom is the principal thing; therefore get wisdom: and with all thy getting get understanding. Proverbs 4:7 This verse goes on to say that people who make hasty decisions through their emotions or spur of the moment reactions commits sin. Today I encourage you not to sin by making a hasty decision. We must learn to slow down and assess the situation with stable emotions and get full knowledge of the issue. The heart of him that hath understanding seeketh knowledge: but the mouth of fools feedeth on foolishness. Proverbs 15:14

March Week 4 Mid Week Verse
But the Spirit of the LORD departed from Saul, and an evil spirit from the LORD tormented him. 1 Samuel 16:14
I wonder if any of you are being tormented about something? How many of you are holding on to some things when God told you to move on, release it, and /or give it to him? This is the situation that we find Saul, the King of Israel. Saul's constant disobedience prompted GOD's decision to take the Kingdom of Israel from him. Samuel said to him, "The LORD has torn the kingdom of Israel from you today and has given it to one of your neighbors--to one better than you. 1 Samuel 15:28 God sent a evil spirit to torment Saul because he continued to hold the position as King after he told him twice that he had removed him from that office. Had Saul been obedient and given up the Kingdom he would have never been subjected to the evil spirit. And Samuel said, Hath the LORD as great delight in burnt offerings and sacrifices, as in obeying the voice of the LORD? Behold, to obey is better than sacrifice, and to hearken than the fat of rams. 1 Samuel 15:22 It was his rebellious and stubborn nature that he never learned how to overcome that got him in this predicament and eventually lead him to commit suicide. Then said Saul unto his armourbearer, Draw thy sword, and thrust me through therewith; lest these uncircumcised come and thrust me through, and abuse me. But his armourbearer would not; for he was sore afraid. Therefore Saul took a sword, and fell upon it. 1 Samuel 31:4 This is a wakeup call for some of us with a rebellious and stubborn spirit within us, which the bible calls witchcraft and idolatry, two things GOD hates. For rebellion is as the sin of witchcraft, and stubbornness is as iniquity and idolatry. Because thou hast rejected the word of the LORD, he hath also rejected thee from being king 1 Samuel 15:23 Saul was hand pick by God, anointed with oil by Samuel, and given the spirit of God, but his unwillingness to change and heed to the word of God lead him to a life of torment and a premature death. Today I pray that we all have to mind to change and move on when the Father say so. but this one thing I do, forgetting those things which are behind, and reaching forth unto those things which are before, Philippians 3:13

And in that day seven women shall take hold of one man, saying, We will eat our own bread, and wear our own apparel: only let us be called by thy name, to take away our reproach. Isaiah 4:1
I am really loving this scripture as it begins to speak to me. The understanding of this particular verse has helped me answer some questions that I was dealing with about some of the believers today. And in that day seven women shall take hold of one man, The seven women the writer is talking about represent the Church/ Christianity. John to the seven churches which are in Asia: Grace be unto you, and peace, from him which is, and which was, and which is to come; and from the seven Spirits which are before his throne; Revelation 1:4 We are often called in the bible the bride of God therefore the writer used seven women (brides) to symbolize the Church and the one man is Jesus Christ. The mystery of the seven stars that you saw in my right hand and of the seven golden lampstands is this: The seven stars are the angels of the seven churches, and the seven lampstands are the seven churches. Revelation 1:20 Now everything seems to be okay because the women are holding on to Christ but they still want to do their own thing. We will eat our own bread, and wear our own apparel: only let us be called by thy name A lot of believers today want to do what they want and still call themselves Christians. We only put away some of our sins while we continue to frequent others. No man can serve two masters: for either he will hate the one, and love the other; or else he will hold to the one, and despise the other. Ye cannot serve God and mammon. Matthew 6:24 Our Christian message today focuses on the love, mercies, and forgiveness of God and help perpetuate this attitude that God will continue to look past our sinful ways. Which in turn has helped us move away from the conscious effort of living Holy; although it is a commandment from God. Because it is written, Be ye holy; for I am holy. 1 Peter 1:16 Today I want to encourage us not to abuse the Father’s mercy and continue in a unholy life style. The very fact that you are born again mean that you have died to sin. What shall we say then? Shall we continue in sin, that grace may abound? God forbid. How shall we, that are dead to sin, live any longer therein?Romans 6:1-2

March Week 3 Mid Week Verse
Do not give dogs what is sacred; do not throw your pearls to pigs. If you do, they may trample them under their feet, and then turn and tear you to pieces. Matthew 7:6
This is a very tough teaching but one that is much needed in your walk with Christ. These words of Jesus seems to be harsh and very much ungodly. Jesus calls people dogs and worst pigs two animals that the Jews called filth and not worthy to eat. But it is happened unto them according to the true proverb, The dog is turned to his own vomit again; and the sow that was washed to her wallowing in the mire. 2 Peter 2:22 Notice that he did not say not to love them only not to give them what you deem sacred or valuable of yourself. I have a friend that thinks I take this to literally but I don't want to waste time with people without any vision. Where there is no vision, the people perish: but he that keepeth the law, happy is he. Proverbs 29:18 Don't share your deep thoughts and dreams that God has given you with people that are not walking in the same direction as you. They will only ridicule you and place stumbling blocks in your way. Joseph had a dream, and when he told it to his brothers, they hated him all the more. Genesis 37:5 We have vision because we see clearly the things of God through the light that he has given us. This is the message we have heard from him and declare to you: God is light; in him there is no darkness at all. 1 John 1:5 So then those that lack vision walk in darkness and cannot perceive the things which you speak. Be ye not unequally yoked together with unbelievers: for what fellowship hath righteousness with unrighteousness? and what communion hath light with darkness? 2 Corinthians 6:14 I really believe this is what the writer is talking about when he says lay aside every weight that so easily distract you. let us lay aside every weight, and the sin which doth so easily beset us, and let us run with patience the race that is set before us, Hebrews 12:1 We have a work to do and we can't be held up from our calling trying to keep a friendship or a family member that is not ready to walk in the way of righteousness. Today I encourage you to present your pearls before godly counsel; those that walk after the light. You are all sons of the light and sons of the day. We do not belong to the night or to the darkness. 1 Thessalonians 5:5

But with the precious blood of Christ, as of a lamb without blemish and without spot: Who verily was foreordained before the foundation of the world, but was manifest in these last times for you, 1 Peter 1:19-20
This is such a amazing verse that truly shows the unstoppable Will of GOD. Peter is writing about Jesus Christ and GOD's plan for him even before the foundation of the World. Who has accomplished this? Who has determined the course of history from the beginning? I, the LORD, was there first, and I will be there to the end. I am the one!" Isaiah 41:4 The foreknowledge of GOD is that he looked at the world and saw what man would do and how we would fall. Yet he did not change his mind about creating the world but prepared a way for us to be redeemed even before Adam ever sinned. the Lamb slain from the foundation of the world Revelation 13:8 In fact GOD looked at the world saw the sacrifice his only son would have to endure to change our destiny and still said it is very good. And God saw every thing that he had made, and, behold, [it was] very good. Genesis 1:31 What GOD has for you is for you. What GOD has declared over your life it shall come to pass. We are only waiting on the manifestation to take place. But they that wait upon the LORD shall renew [their] strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; [and] they shall walk, and not faint. Isaiah 40:31 Today I want to encourage you to hold fast to the word of GOD and the promise he made to you. For it is only a matter of time because it has been ordained for you before the foundations of the earth. Then shall the King say unto them on his right hand, Come, ye blessed of my Father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world: Matthew 25:34

The LORD of hosts hath sworn, saying, Surely as I have thought, so shall it come to pass; and as I have purposed, so shall it stand: Isaiah 14:24
Every single thing that we have experienced in our life has happened for a reason. There is nothing about us that God does not understand! He even hears our thoughts that we form in our mind. 27 The spirit of man is the candle of the LORD, searching all the inward parts of the belly; Proverbs 20 God knows our limitations and the gifts we possess. He knows all the mistakes that we make along the way and how long it takes for us to surrender to him. God has a purpose for all of our lives and has set out the path before us even before the foundation of the earth. According as he hath chosen us in him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and without blame before him in love: Ephesians 1:4Yes that is right, God has chosen you to do a work for him, and in return you will receive eternal life in heaven and God’s blessings down here on earth. Ye have not chosen me, but I have chosen you, and ordained you, that ye should go and bring forth fruit John 15:16 Even after you give your life to God, it can be very frustrating until you find your calling. God has the ability to close doors that you think should be open just to make sure you are headed in the way he has planned your life. We must learn to be submissive to the spirit and avoid being frustrated with these closed doors. It’s very important that we seek God’s will for our life and not follow after our own ideas of what it should be. 4 Delight thyself also in the LORD: and he shall give thee the desires of thine heart. 5 Commit thy way unto the LORD; trust also in him; and he shall bring it to pass. Psalm 37 The plan has been set and our steps have been ordered it shall come to pass. Trust God’s word and know that he knows what’s best for you. God will lead if we will only follow.

The LORD is slow to anger, and great in power, and will not at all acquit the wicked: the LORD hath his way in the whirlwind and in the storm, and the clouds are the dust of his feet. Nahum 1:3
This is such a powerful word! When I read it I hung on to every word! He announces what kind of God we have; that he is not quick to anger when we do wrong but he is very much great in Power! If we would correct ourselves of the wrong that we do then God will not have to do it for us. 31But if we would examine ourselves, we would not be judged by God in this way 1 Corinthians 11 There are those that reject the Father and do the things that are pleasing to them regardless of the consequences. (They don’t fear God) That’s why God calls them wicked and will not let them go unpunished! You snakes, offspring of snakes, how will you be kept from the punishment of hell? Matthew 23:33 The second part of this verse IS A RIGHT NOW WORD, especially for someone that is going through something this very moment. the LORD hath his way in the whirlwind and in the storm, and the clouds are the dust of his feet. As a child of God there are two possible things that could happen when we are faced with a storm. Either you are being corrected Revelation 3:19 'Those whom I love, I reprove and discipline; therefore be zealous and repent or God has seen fit to elevate you. 3because you know that the testing of your faith develops perseverance. 4Perseverance must finish its work so that you may be mature and complete, not lacking anything James 1 (maybe a little of both) Either way God is in control and we have to go though the fire to come out as pure gold. But he knoweth the way that I take: when he hath tried me, I shall come forth as gold Job 23:10 The verse tell us that the clouds are the dust of his feet which mean that when we are in the middle of a storm our God is right there with us. In fact through that storm that we think is causing us such pain, God is making a better you!!! Today, I encourage you, fear not, lift up your head for it may feel like you are alone but your God is right there in the midst of it all. "The LORD is the one who goes ahead of you; He will be with you. He will not fail you or forsake you. Do not fear or be dismayed." Deuteronomy 31:8
