And I will restore to you the years that the locust hath eaten, the cankerworm, and the caterpiller, and the palmerworm, my great army which I sent among you. Joel 2: 25
These are the words of God to his people that ring loud in my ears daily. The Father takes full responsibility for every event that happens in your life and knows you by name. Yes, everything that happens, happens for a reason and God is still in control. How we respond will determine just how soon the Father will restore us. There will be times where we are hit hard by other people's actions and the judgment that God places on them will sometimes overflow to us. Whether it be family members, friends, co workers, classmates, teammates, or leadership, the good does suffer with the bad. Jesus answered and said unto them, Destroy this temple, and in three days I will raise it up.John 2:19 It’s a blessing to know that we have a God that makes a promise to us that everything that he tears down he will build back up again, and not only build it back but make it better than ever. And David inquired at the LORD, Shall I pursue after this troop? shall I overtake them? And he answered him, Pursue: for thou shalt surely overtake them, and without fail recover all.1 Samuel 30:8. Stop looking back at what you lost and look forwards to what God is going to bring to pass. Start dreaming about the things that were promised to you and how you will be a blessing to others. Open up your mind to all kinds of possibilities and works that God wants to do through you. Now unto him that is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that worketh in us,Ephesians 3:20 Today I encourage to look past the hurt, pain, and things you may have lost and look forward to the things to come So the LORD blessed the latter end of Job more than his beginning:Job42: 12

Rachel was dying. As she took her last breath, she named her son Benoni [Son of My Sorrow], but hisFather named him Benjamin [Son of My Right Hand]. Genesis 35:18
What’s done is done!! Past failures and short comings must be put behind you! What would happen if Benjamin's name would have never been changed from Benoni? He would have had to live with a name that marked him for life. His past would have followed him for the rest of his life and neither he nor others would have seen him for who he really was. It would have placed all kinds of insecurities in his mind as well as a negative perception of things around him. Yes it happened, and yes you did it but that’s not who you are; or all there is too you. Most of the mistakes we make in life come from us trying to find our place. We put our trust in people and things, thinking that happiness comes from them or the stuff we acquire. We soon find that those things can not tell us who we are or give us what we have been searching for our whole life. Just as Benjamin's Father renamed his son your heavily Father knows your real name and why you were place here on the earth. 28And he said, Thy name shall be called no more Jacob, but Israel: for as a prince Genesis 32 Israel was Benjamin's father so if God called him a Prince then his son had to be royalty also. To sit at ones right hand means a place of authority, it was a place of honor it meant dignity and rulership. When you accept God as your personal Savior he adopts you into the body of Christ. For ye have not received the spirit of bondage again to fear; but ye have received the Spirit of adoption, whereby we cry, Abba, Father. Romans 8:15 Your Father will then begin to speak to you about who you really are and plans that he has made for your life. Before I formed thee in the belly I knew thee; and before thou camest forth out of the womb I sanctified thee, and I ordained thee a prophet unto the nations. Jeremiah 1:5 Today I pray that you cry out to your heavily Father that you might know your name and live according to his will. Not to know who you really are is very frustrating because you will always feel like there is something missing or you should be doing something else with your life.

If thou doest well, shalt thou not be accepted? and if thou doest not well, sin lieth at the door. And unto thee shall be his desire, and thou shalt rule over him. Genesis 4:7
We were not built to be slackers and God has never accepted this behavior. And whatsoever ye do, do it heartily, as to the Lord, and not unto men; Colossians 3:23 God is speaking here and is having a conversation with Cain because he is upset that God did not accept his offering. But unto Cain and to his offering he had not respect. And Cain was very wroth , and his countenance fell.Genesis 4:5 I love the level of care that God has for Cain asking him why is he upset. And the LORD said unto Cain, Why art thou wroth? and why is thy countenance fallen ? Genesis 4:7 However God did not bend or lower his standards for Cain or anyone else for that matter but showed him the errors of his ways. God expects us to give great effort in the things we do therefore we reflect his image within us. Herein is my Father glorified, that ye bear much fruit; so shall ye be my disciples John 15:8 God wants us to have the same character that He has and if he does all things well, we should too. And were beyond measure astonished, saying, He hath done all things well: he maketh both the deaf to hear, and the dumb to speak. Mark 7:37 No we are not perfect but we can give perfect effort in all areas of our life. He that is faithful in that which is least is faithful also in much: and he that is unjust in the least is unjust also in much. Luke 16:10 Here we understand that the small things count in the sight of God and He will rewarded us for the effort. There is another law working here as well for God says that it’s a sin not to give great effort (laziness) and that we should guard against it daily. Never be lazy, but work hard and serve the Lord enthusiastically.Romans 12:11 Today I want to encourage you not to become a slacker in any area of your life but to work hard, put forth the effort. That you may not be a shame but that God may approve your offering to him. Do your best to present yourself to God as one approved, a workman who does not need to be ashamed and who correctly handles the word of truth. 2 Timothy 2:15

They that observe lying vanities forsake their own mercy. Jonah 2:8
The verse of the day comes from Jonah as he was praying in the belly of the great fish. Through some means of thought Jonah convinced himself that he could walk away from the commandment of GOD to preach to the city of Nineveh. But Jonah got up and went in the opposite direction to get away from the LORD Jonah 1:3 Jonah came to his senses as his disobedience caused him to be swallowed up and taken under by the power of GOD. For in him we live and move and have our being.' As some of your own poets have said, 'We are his offspring.' Acts 17:28 Jonah acknowledge that he had lied to himself and had caused the wrath of GOD to overflow in his life. Do not merely listen to the word, and so deceive yourselves. Do what it says. James 1:22 Like Jonah we sometimes step outside of ourselves (temporary insanity) and go against the word of GOD. But every man is tempted, when he is drawn away of his own lust, and enticed. James 1:14 We have a merciful GOD that will forgive us if we confess our sins. If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us [our] sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.1 John 1:9 Satan will also step into the picture and create a lie within your mind to steal, kill, and destroy a situation, dream, or promise GOD has given you. The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have [it] more abundantly. John 10:10 Today I encourage you to not to listen to any lying words rather they come from another person, yourself or the devil himself. Set your affection on things above, not on things on the earth. Colossians 3:2

In him we were also chosen, having been predestined according to the plan of him who works out everything in conformity with the purpose of his will, Ephesians 1:11
God's Will is an unyielding force. It's not willing to compromise by the least bit. Once God speaks a thing, it shall come to pass. Seek ye out of the book of the LORD, and read: no one of these shall fail, none shall want her mate: for my mouth it hath commanded, and his spirit it hath gathered them. Isaiah 34:16 God speaks and the Holy Spirit goes into action moving things to act according to God's purpose. Seek ye out of the book of the LORD God's says check my track record, everything that I have spoken will manifest. Consequently, those of us who are saved are saved with purpose in our life according to God's Will. Don't you know that you yourselves are God's temple and that God's Spirit lives in you? 1 Corinthians 3:16 This is part of the reason we don't receive everything from God that we pray about. He needs us to understand that he will meet our needs but, according to his purpose not our own. And this is the confidence that we have in him, that, if we ask any thing according to his will, he heareth us: 1 John 5:14 God is more than happy to give you anything you ask when it lines up with his Word and purpose. he predestined us to be adopted as his sons through Jesus Christ, in accordance with his pleasure and will Ephesians 1:5 We have not received this favor so that God can hear from us when we need something from him. There is a specific purpose for your life and the Spirit of God is willing you in that direction. Commit your way to the LORD, Trust also in Him, and He will do it. Psalm 37:5 Today, I encourage you to pursue this purpose by asking the LORD to order your steps. The steps of a good man are ordered by the LORD: and he delighteth in his way. Psalm 37:23 Let God be the driving force in your life showing you which things you should desire according to his Will. For it is God which worketh in you both to will and to do of his good pleasure Philippians 2:13

To every thing there is a season, and a time to every purpose under the heaven: Ecclesiastes 3:1
I don't know what season you are in but I do want you to know that this is just a season and not the way it will always be. In life we have our ups and downs; things change, people change, our desires change. A time to weep and a time to laugh; A time to mourn and a time to dance. Ecclesiastes 3:5 In the midst of all these different seasons Christ Jesus our LORD remains the same. Jesus Christ the same yesterday, and to day, and for ever. Hebrews 13:8 He promised to be with you no matter what season; if you continue in Him. Whosoever transgresseth, and abideth not in the doctrine of Christ, hath not God. He that abideth in the doctrine of Christ, he hath both the Father and the Son 2 John 1:9 It's important that we understand that seasons do not represent whether God is pleased with us or not. Job went through a rough time in his life because God was pleased with him. Then the LORD said to Satan, "Have you considered my servant Job? There is no one on earth like him; he is blameless and upright, a man who fears God and shuns evil." Job 1:8 Season are a part of nature that God has placed here on earth. And God said, "Let there be lights in the expanse of the sky to separate the day from the night, and let them serve as signs to mark seasons and days and years, Genesis 1:14 Season represents change; and change is good because it will allow us to see GOD differently. In one season you may see Jesus as a healer, next season a provider, another season a protector. Each season shows you another side of Jesus in your life which will give you a better understand of who God is and deeper love for what he is to you. Each time God reveals himself to someone in the bible they would give him a new name. I appeared to Abraham, to Isaac, and to Jacob as El-Shaddai--'God Almighty'--but I did not reveal my name, Yahweh, to them. Exodus 6:3 Today I encourage to not to put too much thought in your current season but rather seek a new revelation from the God of all seasons. God looked down from heaven upon the children of men, to see if there were any that did understand, that did seek God. Psalm 53:2

For this cause I bow my knees unto the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, Of whom the whole family in heaven and earth is named, Ephesians 3 14-15
How many times do we really give God the honor that we should. Exalt the LORD our God and worship at his footstool; he is holy Psalm 99:5. This verse has stuck out to me for some time now. I know that on judgment day every knee shall bow and every tongue confess that Christ is King. However, I wonder all the time if i'm doing all I should; If God is really pleased with me? I delight to do your will, O my God: yea, your law is within my heart. Psalm 40:8 How many times do I stop and bow my knees to give God the honor just for being God. Give unto the LORD the glory due unto his name; worship the LORD in the beauty of holiness. Psalm 29:2 Though I pray and talk with him all day it is mostly because of the things that I need or things he is developing in me. I am not sure if we understand how to treat royalty because we don’t have a king in the U.S. Jesus met them, saying, All hail. And they came and held him by the feet, and worshipped him. Matt 28:9 Most churches in the eastern part of the world don’t have benches in their temples. They do this because when they come to praise God they are either standing up or when they are praying/worshiping they bowing down before GOD. I know that we praise and bless God, but do we treat him like the King he is and bow before him? He is GOD and besides him there is none other!!!!! So, GOD your are my everything, without you nothing will be. You hold the world in your hands and you give life to me and every other live thing that I see. Lord I worship you just for who you are and right now I bow to you my great, mighty, all knowing, all powerful, everlasting, ever merciful God. You are my rock, my shield, my Lord, my Father, my Protector, my Savior, my KING, my GOD. Today I want to encourage you worship the LORD with me with only one request; just to be in his presence. O come, let us worship and bow down: let us kneel before the LORD our maker. Psalm 95:6

May Week 2 Verse
Give, and it shall be given unto you; good measure, pressed down, and shaken together, and running over, shall men give into your bosom. For with the same measure that ye mete withal it shall be measured to you again. Luke 6:38
This scripture explains a spiritual principle being taught by Jesus under the natural law of sowing and reaping. We understand that the world was formed and continue to replenish itself under this same law. Then God said, "Let the land produce vegetation: seed-bearing plants and trees on the land that bear fruit with seed in it, according to their various kinds." And it was so. Genesis 1:11 Beyond this natural law of reproducing there is a spiritual law at work that teaches us that whatsoever choices we make we will have to deal with the consequences of them. Be not deceived; God is not mocked: for whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap. Galatians 6:7 In today's verse we find Jesus teaching the blessing side of this principle. Giving is how you will receive more from GOD. and to remember the words of the Lord Jesus, how he said, It is more blessed to give than to receive. Acts 20:35 Jesus requires you to give of yourself as he gave of himself because we are a reflection of him. As all of us reflect the glory of the Lord (Jesus) with unveiled faces, we are becoming more like him with ever-increasing glory by the Lord's Spirit 2 Corinthians 3:18 The more he gave, the more GOD gave back to him; Jesus grew with increasing power, wisdom, and favor. And Jesus increased in wisdom and stature, and in favour with God and man. Luke 2:52 Jesus made sure that everything he did the people knew that it was not him, but the father that sent him, doing these powerful things. In doing so GOD was able to abound more in him because he was so selfless. All I have is yours, and all you have is mine. And glory has come to me through them. John 17:10 Today I encourage you to become more selfless, giving back to GOD your talent, gifts, time, and love. Trust that every deed you do is recorded and the Father will repay!!! See, it stands written before me: I will not keep silent but will pay back in full; I will pay it back into their laps--Isaiah 65:6

Verse Of The Week
May Week 1
16 And he said , Thus saith the LORD, Make this valley full of ditches. 2 King 3
What are you doing to prepare for the promises of God? How much leg work have you done to ensure that you are able to receive your blessing? Are you truly working hard to develop your gifts? How many ditches have you dug to hold God's abundant life? And I will make them and the places round about my hill a blessing; and I will cause the shower to come down in his season; there shall be showers of blessing. Ezekiel 34:26 The verse for today comes from the mouth of God by way of the Prophet Elisha. The people begin to fear and call on God because they had gone days without water and the next morning were going to war against a very large and intimidating enemy (Moab). The overall thought was that God had brought them there to destroy them. 10 And the king of Israel said , Alas! that the LORD hath called these three kings together , to deliver them into the hand of Moab! 2 Kings 3 But God's words were simple; he tells them to prepare for his blessing!!! 16 And he said , Thus saith the LORD, Make this valley full of ditches. 2 King 3 Whatever gift or gifts God has given you he expects you to put them to work. 21"His master replied, 'Well done, good and faithful servant! You have been faithful with a few things; I will put you in charge of many things. Come and share your master's happiness!' God requires us to sacrifice our time, talent, energy, and money as part of our preparation for his overflowing blessing. 20And it came to pass in the morning, when the meat offering was offered, that, behold, there came water by the way of Edom, and the country was filled with water. 2 Kings 3 Notice that their blessing do not come until after they made their offering. Today I encourage you to prepare your ditches that you may receive the things of God. The more that you dig the more you can retain in your possession and not lose because lack of vessels on account of Gods overflow. 3Then he said, Go, borrow thee vessels abroad of all thy neighbours, even empty vessels; borrow not a few. 2 Kings 4
