Verse Of The Week
July Week 5
And one of them, when he saw that he was healed, turned back, and with a loud voice glorified God, Mark 1:15
It's the power of God and Will of God that changes things in our life. We can't do anything of our own power. We should never forget what God has done for us and what he has planned to do in the future. But as it is written, Eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man, the things which God hath prepared for them that love him. 1 Corinthians 2:9 This verse comes from the story of the ten leapers that Jesus healed. The ten men called on the name of Jesus and he heard their cry and healed them. 13And they lifted up their voices, and said, Jesus, Master, have mercy on us. Luke 17 There was only one who decided that praising and giving thanks to God was more important than going before man for his approval. There are times in our life that we may become occupied with the things that are before us and forget that it was God that blessed us with them in the first place. Well maybe not forget but we place them before God because they seem to be a pressing priority at the time. And when he saw them, he said unto them, Go shew yourselves unto the priests. And it came to pass, that, as they went, they were cleansed. Luke 17:14 It was Jesus that told them to go show themselves to the priests. Their obedience and faith in Jesus was the reason they were healed. But we should also realize that God expect us to praise and give him thanks for all that he has done for us. And Jesus answering said, Were there not ten cleansed? but where are the nine? Luke 17: 17 We should never let anything come before our praise and worship of God. Jesus said unto him, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind. Matthew 22:37 Today I encourage you to always give thanks to God and keep him first in your life. For thou shalt worship no other god: for the LORD, whose name is Jealous, is a jealous God: Exodus 34:14
He who has ears, let him hear. Matthew 11:15 Be blessed and have a great day

Verse Of The Week
Mid Week Verse Week 4
You keep him in perfect peace whose mind is stayed on you, because he trusts in you. Isaiah 26:3
What does it mean to “KEEP,” or to be “kept” by the Lord? Well let us start by looking up the definition of the word “Keep.” Keep means to be true to something, to store something, to possess, to safeguard or to save. Now, just taking that much of the scripture we are already building the characteristics of our Heavenly Father in this verse because we know that the Lord will be true to us (Psalm 37:5-6); He wants to take and store our worries away from us (Matt. 11:28-30); He wants to possess us and call us His (John1:12); He wants to safeguard and protect us (2 Sam:22:3-4); and save us from the condemning sentence that sin placed upon us (Isaiah 53:5). The next section of this verse is just as amazing as the first. It tells us WHERE God will KEEP us. This is not a physical place, which is why you can get to it even if your “physical body” is stricken with disease. It’s not a worldly place, which is why you can escape here when the chaos of the world comes tumbling into your life. It is a SPIRITUAL PLACE of PERFECT PEACE. ((Side note: you must feed the spirit in order to reach it by prayer and reading God’s word)) This place of peace is a gift to our minds and hearts from Jesus Christ, Peace I leave with you; my peace I give you. I do not give to you as the world gives. Do not let your hearts be troubled and do not be afraid. –John 14:27. It is what the Lord gives us so we don’t have to deal with depression and handle trials and troubles on our own. It is a place of comfort and a place of quiet serenity that we can go to even in the hardest of times. This peace cannot be taken away, Though the mountains be shaken and the hills be removed, yet my unfailing love for you will not be shaken nor my covenant of peace be removed," says the LORD, who has compassion on you -Isaiah 54:10. This peace also keeps us from falling into Satan’s traps, Great peace havethey who love your law, and nothing can make them stumble -Psalms 119:165. However, in order to come to this place of perfect peace we first need to give something over to Him. We know that the Lord does not force us into submission because the bible says, “Here I am! I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears my voice and opens the door, I will come in and eat with him, and he with me.”- Revelation 3:20. God knocks on the doors of our hearts and it is up to us to open up the door and allow Him entrance into our lives. We open the door through our trust and confidence in Him. So I encourage you today to, Trust in the LORD with all your heart andlean not on your own understanding –Proverbs 3:5, so that the Lord can lead you into PERFECT PEACE.

Verse Of The Week
July Week 4
For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come, Nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord. (Romans 8:37-39 KJV)
Take a moment to think about what the love of God is. Think deeply of how it differs from our own human love. God's love is indescribable, it does not depend on the things that we say or do. In this the love of God was made manifest among us, that God sent his only Son into the world, so that we might live through him. In this is love, not that we have loved God but that he loved us and sent his Son to be the propitiation for our sins. Beloved, if God so loved us, we also ought to love one another.1 John 4:9-11 The love of God, expressed through Christ Jesus is what sustains us; it keeps us from falling into the dark hole of sin, danger and pain. The love of God goes beyond anything that we deserve; it is the sacrifice that he made for us. but God shows his love for us in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us. Romans 5:8 Because God's love is so powerful we can take comfort in the above verse and know that NOTHING can separate us from that love. We are not strong enough to break that bond of love, so don't get caught up in self condemnation. Neither is life nor death able to separate that bond of love. Know that even if you lose someone they are still wrapped in God's love. We are confident, I say, and willing rather to be absent from the body, and to be present with the Lord, 2 Corinthians 5:8. No situation, no circumstance, no power or authority can separate us from the love of God in Christ Jesus because none of those things gave it to us. It was nothing but the grace and mercy of our Lord and Savior that gave us this divine gift of love. But God, being rich in mercy, because of the great love with which he loved us, even when we were dead in our trespasses, made us alive together with Christ. Ephesians 2:4-5 Since we were freely given this love, let us share this gift with others and thus show that we are Christ disciples. A new commandment I give to you, that you love one another: just as I have loved you, you also are to love one another. By this all people will know that you are my disciples, if you have love for one another.” John 13:34-35

July 3 Verse Of The Week
2 Timothy 3 16, All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness: 17 That the man of God may be perfect, thoroughly furnished unto all good works KJV.
This is a very good scripture and pretty easy to understand even on the surface. In fact it is one of my church Articles of Faith so I have been reciting it my whole life; but a closer look at the word inspiration has brought on a total new meaning of this scripture for me. inspiration (The act of drawing in, especially the inhalation of air into the lungs.) So in other words when we read the scriptures we inhale God’s word or take in the breath of God! That's why Jesus taught on being born again when you read and believe God’s word; he is in fact breathing into you new life and the Holy Spirit. In reply Jesus declared, “I tell you the truth, no one can see the kingdom of God unless he is born again.” st john 3:3 As believers we must constantly read our bibles to allow our life source “God” to breathe in us because without it we will begin to suffocate and eventually die. And the LORD God formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living soul.Genesis 2:7 Just as God breathed in Adam and he became a living soul so shall his word breathe in us and our spirit shall live. Flesh gives birth to flesh, but the Spirit gives birth to spirit. St. John 3:6 It does not matter what you are going though the Bible has an answer to how you should respond to your situation. I have hidden your word in my heart that I might not sin against you Psalm 119:11 I encourage you to open up God’s word and allow him to breath into you new life for this Year much more often then before that you would be perfect, thoroughly furnished unto all good works

July 1 Verse Of The Week
When you pass through the waters, I will be with you; and through the rivers, they shall not overflow you. When you walk through the fire, you shall not be burned, nor shall the flame scorch you. Isaiah 43:2
From the moment you asked GOD to be the head of your life you granted him permission to order your steps. The faith that you had to step out and believe in a God that you can’t see was, at best, restricted. You were told, just come to Jesus and everything will be all right, and you will be. However things are not going to happen the way you picture them to. When God order our steps he leads us to some very strange places and dry lands. It's here where our faith takes over and we step out of ourselves into a place that we did not choose. Walking with God takes a person with great determination because you may feel like turning around and avoiding this place altogether. And Jesus said unto him, No man, having put his hand to the plough, and looking back, is fit for the kingdom of God. Luke 9:62 Trusting in the word of God is the key, without it there is no way that you will walk through the waters and fire. (For we walk by faith, not by sight) 2 Corinthians 5:7 God has promised that he will be with us no matter how bad it looks. Not only that but he also promises that we will feel the water but not be over taken; feel the heat but not be burned, see the flames but not be consumed. God wants you to fully be aware of what he is taking you through that your faith may grow and you become a fearless witness for him. Behold, I have refined thee, but not with silver; I have chosen thee in the furnace of affliction. Isaiah 48:10 Today I pray that you will stand on God's word and pass through the waters, rivers, and fire on your way to a greater destiny. For our light affliction, which is but for a moment, is working for us a far more exceeding and eternal weight of glory, 2 Corinthians 4:17
