And the LORD said unto Samuel, How long wilt thou mourn for Saul, seeing I have rejected him from reigning over Israel? fill thine horn with oil, and go, I will send thee to Jesse the Bethlehemite: for I have provided me a king among his sons. 1 Samuel 16:1
In our lifetime there will be a few things that don’t go our way. Things happen and God’s will will prevail rather we agree with it or not. Samuel was hurt because God had elected to strip the Kingdom of Israel away from Saul. Sometimes God makes decisions that seem like it's too hard to bare. We allow the situation to get the best of us and are grieved to the point of losing our will to move forward. This is where we find Samuel because he had been Saul’s Godly adviser on the matters of acting as King and War Chief of God’s people. God’s reaction to Samuel is not one of compassion because God is God “Who hath directed the Spirit of the LORD, or being his counsellor hath taught him? Isaiah 40:13” God sternly commands him to get up, fill your horn with oil and go. We have to learn how to roll with the punches. That means to take the good with the bad but remain faithful to what God has called you to do. Just like Job after he lost it all And said, Naked came I out of my mother's womb, and naked shall I return thither: the LORD gave, and the LORD hath taken away; blessed be the name of the LORD. Job 1:21 Trust, though you can’t see it now, if God tells you to move on then it’s for the best. For I know the plans I have for you," declares the LORD, "plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future. Jeremiah 29:11 Today I would like to encourage you that whatever it maybe that you are going through things are going to workout for you if you continue in the faith. It is good for me that I have been afflicted; that I might learn thy statutes. Psalm 119:71 Learn how to grow closer to God in times of troubles and not fade away from him. God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble. Psalm 46:1
He who has ears, let him hear. Matthew 11:15 Be blessed and have a great day

35 Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword? 37 Nay, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him that loved us. Romans 8
At times it may seem like we endure so many hardships that our spirit become broken. Our prayer will change from "God is going to bring me out with a mighty hand; to Lord just help me survive this attack." The writer of the above verse was none other than the Apostle Paul. It was his very own hardships that brought this incredible revelation and well known scripture. 24 Five times I received from the Jews 40 lashes minus one. 25 Three times I was beaten with a stick, once I was pelted with stones, three times I was shipwrecked, and I drifted on the sea for a day and a night. 27 in toil and hardship, through many a sleepless night, through hunger, thirst, many periods of fasting, coldness, and nakedness. 2 Corinthians 11 Paul did not write these words because he was trying to get some kind of pity; but he was boasting in the fact that God have triumphed every time and delivered him. 18 Since many people boast in a fleshly way, I will do it, too. 2 Corinthians 11 We are so much more than over comers. God calls us royalty, priest, the head and not the tail, above and not beneath, a lender and not a borrow, the salt of the earth, and the light of the world. If these things are true how can we only hope to "just"survive theattacks of the enemy. Lift up your heads, shake yourself free, plant your feet on Christ the solid rock and look to the hills for you help. I will lift up mine eyes unto the hills, from whence cometh my help. 2 My help cometh from the LORD, which made heaven and earth. Psalm 121 Your trials did not come to rob you of your confidence but to bring to the surface hidden gifts that were planted inside of you and promote you to your next level. 30 Then the king promoted Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego in the province of Babylon. Daniel 3 Today I pray that you will walk through your fiery trials with your heads high and full of confidence that this is not the death of you but only a stepping stone to a new promotion. Besides, God is able to make every blessing of yours overflow for you, so that in every situation you will always have all you need for any good work. 2 Corinthians 9:8

Now then we are ambassadors for Christ, as though God did beseech you by us: we pray you in Christ's stead, be ye reconciled to God. 2 Corinthians 5:20
Such incredible words from the Apostle Paul! He identifies that his task as a Christian was to compel men to God through Christ Jesus. Paul is pleading with the people of Corinth to come back to God and lay aside their sinful ways and hold on to the teaching of Jesus Christ. What I truly love about the scripture is how Paul makes it clear that the only way that we can be reconciled to God is through Christ. Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me. John 14:6 He declares that we are ambassadors for Christ; which mean Jesus himself has given us the authority to speak on his behalf! In fact, he has not only given us the authority but has commanded us to do so. And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature. Mark 16:15 I know that most of us by now have recognized that this is our responsibility; but it’s the passion where by reading or hearing his words that made Paul’s ministry so effective!!!! 23 Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as working for the Lord, not for men, Colossians Today I would like to encourage you to find what moves you, your gift, your passion and allow God to use you within that zeal so that your ministry my be effective!!! Becoming a true Ambassador for Christ!!!!!!!!!!!!

59And they stoned Stephen, calling upon God, and saying, Lord Jesus, receive my spirit. 60And he kneeled down, and cried with a loud voice, Lord, lay not this sin to their charge. And when he had said this, he fell asleep. Acts 7
Where have I heard those words before? I know I have read them somewhere before. Then said Jesus, Father, forgive them; for they know not what they do. Luke 23:34 Jesus said the same thing hanging on the cross right before he died. Stephen is my favorite person in the bible because he proves that you can have the mind of Christ even till death! Let this mind be in you, which was also in Christ Jesus: Philippians 2:5 He spoke so boldly starting from the first book of the Bible, Genesis, about Abraham and God’s promise to him; that he would make him the father of many nations and from his lineage would come the savoir of the world . And in thy seed shall all the nations of the earth be blessed; because thou hast obeyed my voice Genesis 22:18 He continued through the bible all the way up to his present time proving that Jesus was Lord of Lord’s. Stephen had a wealth of knowledge of the bible and was able to give a reason of his hope. But sanctify the Lord God in your hearts: and be ready always to give an answer to every man that asketh you a reason of the hope that is in you with meekness and fear 1 Peter 3:15 Our goal should be to have the mind of Christ in everything that we do. However, in order to do so we have to grow in the knowledge of Christ. But grow in grace, and in the knowledge of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. To him be glory both now and for ever. Amen. 2 Peter 3:18 Today I encourage you to continue to grow in the knowledge of Christ make sure that you are reading your bible and going to bible study regularly! And this is my prayer: that your love may abound more and more in knowledge and depth of insight Philippians 1:9

When they saw the courage of Peter and John and realized that they were unschooled, ordinary men, they were astonished and they took note that these men had been with Jesus. Acts 4:13
What do people see when they look at you? Can they take note that you have been with Jesus? Are you a reflection of our Savior? Whoever says he abides in him ought to walk in the same way in which he walked.1 John 2:6 (ESV) As we walk in our day to day lives we should be an example to everybody as to how God wants us to live. If you have been walking with Jesus for 6 months you should be farther along now than 3 months ago. God is looking to do great thing with us but we first have to mature in him before he elevates us to that place. John 15:4 "Abide in Me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself unless it abides in the vine, so neither can you unless you abide in Me. If we are not growing in Christ how can he use us and we become all that God has for us to be. 49 And he said unto them, How is it that ye sought me? wist ye not that I must be about my Father's business? 52 And Jesus increased in wisdom and stature, and in favor with God and man. Luke 2 Even Jesus had a period of studying and maturing (about 30 years) before he was elevated to his calling saving the world. We all have a calling on our life and we must begin to develop our gifts and grow in Christ so that we will be a reflection of God. Today I encourage you be that reflection of God; bearing witness that his power is great, his love is unmatched, and he lives in you!!!!!

11 I, even I, am the LORD, and apart from me there is no savior. 13 Yes, and from ancient days I am he. No one can deliver out of my hand. When I act, who can reverse it?" Isaiah NIV
As a child of God we will face many attacks from the enemy and we are taught to wait on God. Sometimes we are in a situation so long that we begin to think that we are never going to make it out. We may lose faith that God is able to fix issues in our life. We still believe in God, but just not in "that" area of life. We say things like, “I guess God does not want me to have it," or “I am too old to do something like that now.” Out of the same mouth proceedeth blessing and cursing. My brethren, these things ought not so to be James 3:10. When we speak things like this we reduce the power of God in our life and become closed minded to our unlimited resource; God Almighty. That’s why I am so glad that we have verses like this to see God flex his muscles and remind us that he has been there from the beginning and is already waiting at the end. We serve a God that can do anything!!! Jesus replied, "What is impossible with men is possible with God." Luke 18:27 If the thing that you have prayed about has not come to pass don’t give up but begin to speak things like; "For the LORD God is a sun and shield; the LORD bestows favour and honour; no good thing does he withhold from those whose walk is blameless. psalms 84:11" or "there must be something greater for me if this door is closed." Timing is everything with God there is a purpose to everything that he does and maybe there are just a few more steps that has to be taken before he opens that door for you. Today, I encourage you to keep the faith and never give in to your situation in hopes that it will change for the better. And he (Jesus) did not do many miracles there because of their lack of faith. Matthew 13:58 If we don’t believe our God can do it then he simply won't.

Don't let anyone think less of you because you are young. Be an example to all believers in what you say, in the way yozu live, in your love, your faith, and your purity. 1 Timothy 4:12 NLT
Paul wrote this letter to Timothy, a young gifted anointed man of God. Because of this, I remind you to rouse the gift of God that is in you by laying on of my hands. 2 Timothy 1:6 God has shown Paul that Timothy would carry on the work that he had started. In the two letters that he wrote you can see the love that he has for Timothy and the wisdom that he is pouring into him. Unto Timothy, my own son in the faith: Grace, mercy, and peace, from God our Father and Jesus Christ our Lord.1 Timothy 1:2 Today we are blessed to have two of the letters that Paul wrote to Timothy,(Timothy I and II), further more, we can read the same words of wisdom that God gave Paul to give to Timothy and implement them into our life. I charge you before the Lord to have this letter read to all the brothers.1 Thessalonians 5:27 God wants us to understand that neither our actual age nor our spiritual age is an excuse to not living Holy. We must forever let our light shine to both believers and a dark and lost world. Ye are the salt of the earth: but if the salt have lost his savour, wherewith shall it be salted? it is thenceforth good for nothing, Matthew 5:13 Make sure that your lifestyle or the choices you make are not a stumbling block to anyone. Therefore let us stop passing judgment on one another. Instead, make up your mind not to put any stumbling block or obstacle in your brother's way.Romans 14:13 People should want to pattern themselves after you and the way you live and the love that you show. Ephesians 4:29 Do not let any unwholesome talk come out of your mouths, but only what is helpful for building others up according to their needs, that it may benefit those who listen. I encourage you today to be a living testimony for God; always leading people to Jesus and not away from him with a Holy life.

1 Corinthians 1-10 I beseech you, brethren, by the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, that ye all speak the same thing, and that there be no divisions [2]among you; but that ye be perfectly joined together in the same mind and in the same judgment.
I encourage you to be on the same page with one another for the bible states in 1 Corinthians 14:33 For God is not the author of confusion, but of peace, as in all churches of the saints. We are all a part of the Body of Christ; we may have different gifts and talents but we should all be working towards the same goal (Kingdom Building). If we are working together then we should be like minded. Fulfil ye my joy, that ye be likeminded, having the same love, being of one accord, of one mind. Philippians 2:2 Make sure that you are not the one that is holding the Body of Christ back by not moving in the will of GOD. Jesus tells us that if we bare no, or even worse, bad fruit, we will be cut off from the body. He cuts off every branch in me that bears no fruit, while every branch that does bear fruit he prunes so that it will be even more fruitful. John 15:2 Read your bible and make sure that you line up with his word; it would be a shame to be in the church so long and possess the gifts of God and at the same time be cut off from God because you never learned how to become like minded. Be of the same mind one toward another. Mind not high things, but condescend to men of low estate. Be not wise in your own conceits. Romans 12:16 This includes humbling ourselves to leadership and authorities because God has placed them in that position and has given them a vision and purpose. Every person is to be in subjection to the governing authorities. For there is no authority except from God, and those which exist are established by God. Romans 13:1 Use God's spirit of wisdom to know when to speak and how to address leaders when challenging their ideas on issues. Be ye followers of me, even as I also am of Christ. 1 Corinthians 11:1 As long as they are holding up the integrity of the scripture we must follow their lead for this is pleasing to God. Now may the God who gives perseverance and encouragement grant you to be of the same mind with one another according to Christ Jesus, Romans 15:5
